Military Student Resources
Northeastern wants military students to experience a more seamless transition to civilian life. To achieve that goal, we offer dedicated resources that help ease the change and connect you with industry.
Our career services are consistently ranked in the top two nationwide by the Princeton Review. We work directly with veterans and servicemembers to help them find co-ops and job opportunities that fit their specialized skill set and complement the experience they gained in the military.
- 85% graduation rate of military students compared to the national 54% graduation rate because of the extended support we give our veterans.
- More than 50% of our graduates receive a job offer from a previous co-op employer.
- 90% of our undergraduate students are employed or in graduate school within nine months of graduation.
Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers (CAVS)
In 2015, the university launched the Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers (CAVS). The first-of-its kind center is focused on career preparation and builds on Northeastern’s 100-year legacy of educating veterans and servicemembers.
Student Veterans Organization (SVO)
Military students also have an active voice on campus, both in the classroom and in the organizations they join. The Student Veterans Organization is a perfect example.
