Dolce Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers (CAVS)
Northeastern University’s Dolce Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers (CAVS) is dedicated to helping you achieve your educational and career aspirations. Staffed by a team of veterans who are all graduates of Northeastern, CAVS is here to assist you throughout your academic experience.

Navigating the transition to Higher Education is no small task. Allow us to help! The staff in CAVS can answer questions and provide guidance as you research the right program for you and complete your application. Once admitted to Northeastern, CAVS will help you set up your veteran education benefits and/or apply for additional financial aid if needed.

Services & Programming
VA and DoD Benefit processing, Scholarships, Financial Aid
The Veteran and Military Services team manages all aspects of your VA and DoD benefits in house at Dolce CAVS. From applying for benefits to invoicing for tuition, we are here to help every step of the way. As a subdivision of Student Financial Services, we are also trained to help you understand your financial aid package, apply for scholarships, navigate your student bill, and maximize all funding opportunities available to you to reduce your out-of-pocket costs.
Student Life
Attending Northeastern means being a part of a dynamic, military-connected community that enriches the college experience. No matter where you live, there are so many opportunities for personal growth as you forge lifelong connections with your peers.

Career Advancement
Dolce CAVS leverages a network of NU employer partners that is 3,800+ strong.
Employers seeking veteran talent attend our networking events, host special events/workshops, and promote employment opportunities for our graduates and alumni. Additional training and upskilling programs are provided to make our graduates into even more competitive career seekers.
What is co-op?
Co-op is our most immersive experiential learning program—a full-time, months-long professional work placement that is part of your academic program.
Experiential learning is at the heart of a Northeastern education, engaging you in meaningful work and teaching you to lead in some of the world’s most critical emerging fields.
